About Us

R. Craig Kennedy, LPC

Craig is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and the president of Personal Solutions.  Craig specializes in trauma recovery, along with working with individuals and families within issues such as marriage, anxiety, depression, parenting, divorce, crisis and grief.

After being raised primarily in the Shreveport area – and a career in food manufacturing – Craig became an emergency services chaplain in 2004, mentoring with Durell Tuberville and the Shreveport Fire Department.  Craig currently serves as Chaplain for the Bossier City Fire Department, the Bossier City Police Department, and the Professional Fire Fighters of Louisiana.  He is also a Life Support Coach for Bossier Parish 911 Communications and has served as an adjunct professor for Bossier Parish Community College.

Craig holds a M.A. degree in Counseling and Guidance from Louisiana Tech University and a B.S. degree in Accounting from LSU-S.  Craig is also certified in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) and EMDR.  He is an Approved Instructor for the ICISF in Group Intervention (Basic CISM).

Dr. Patti F. Bornaman, Ph.D, LPC-S, LMFT

Patti is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).  She is also a LPC Supervisor for Provisional LPC’s pursuing their state licensure.  Patti specializes in marriage and family issues, women’s issues, anxiety, depression, pre-marital counseling, parenting, divorce, crisis response, life changes, grief, and trauma recovery. She also provides patients of local physicians with evaluation and counseling for bariatric procedures.

After being raised in the Shreveport area, Patti has been with Personal Solutions almost twenty years.  She has been an integral part of helping build the organization to where it is today.

Patti holds a Ph.D in Psychology and Counseling, a M.A. degree in Counseling and Guidance, a B.S. degree in Psychology, and a A.A. in General Studies.  Patti is also certified in Critical Incident Stress Management.  She has served as an adjunct instructor with LSU-S and Bossier Parish Community College.

Dr. Thomas S. Davison, Psy.D, LPC

Thomas is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in working with children, youth, individuals and families within issues including anxiety, depression, parenting, marriage, divorce, crisis and grief.

After being raised in New Mexico, Thomas and his family have been in the Shreveport area since 2013.  In New Mexico, he was the president of Christian Family Services, working with clients from childhood through adulthood on a variety of issues.  Thomas also has more than a decade of experience working with children and families within the New Mexico foster care system.

Thomas holds a Psy.D and M.A. in Clinical Psychology.  In addition to counseling, Thomas has presented on topics such as emotional well-being, parenting skills, marriage enrichment, and pre-marital counseling.  He also enjoys providing training on school aged related topics such as bullying, dealing with high functioning autism, and teen suicide.

Kelsey Long, LPC

Kelsey is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who specializes in working with children and issues including high-functioning autism, anxiety disorders, depression and grief.

After coming to the Shreveport area in 2009 to attend LSU-S, Kelsey has worked with a local private school in a program which serves children, adolescents, and families that have been affected by autism and other related disabilities.  Kelsey’s desire to work with children comes from her own experience of having a nephew diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Kelsey holds a M.S. in Counseling Psychology from LSU-S.  Kelsey tries to include her Christian principles and prayer into her counseling approach as she tries to create a safe, comfortable environment for counseling.

Dr. Robert Clanton, Ph.D, LCP

Bob is a Licensed Counseling Psychologist (LCP) who specializes in the psychological assessment of children, adolescents and adults.  He also counsels with clients who have experienced traumatic events.

After being raised in the Sarepta / Springhill area, Bob attended school and has over a decade of experience working in hospital, community mental health, and private practice settings.  Bob also provides psychological assessments for veterans and emergency service workers.

Bob holds a Ph.D in Counseling Psychology from Louisiana Tech.  He has also served as an instructor with the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
